Texas ACE invites you to contribute to the ACE Activity & Lesson Online Collection and enter your center in a monthly drawing for a video camera package (more information below)! There are innovative and engaging activities being implemented across 120 Texas 21st CCLC grantees that positively impact students and their families every day and we want to learn about them! This is a great opportunity for Texas ACE grantees to come together and contribute to an online collection of afterschool activities that is easily searchable, accessible, and harvests our shared knowledge and experience with intentional afterschool programming! This online collection will be accessible through the Texas ACE web site (www.texasace21.org) and MyTexasACE.org portal Fall of 2010.

Download the Texas ACE Activity and Lesson Plan Guidelines and Submission Form. All ACE Grantees, grant leaders, project directors, site coordinators, and their ACE staff are invited to submit activities and accompanying lesson plans using the newly released Texas ACE Activity & Lesson Plan Templates. Submissions that address any of the four components from the Four-Component Activity Guide are being accepted now:
- Academic Assistance
- Enrichment
- Family and Parental Support Services
- College & Workforce Readiness

Each month, August 2010 through July 2011, we will award a digital video package by drawing a name from all the grantees who submit activities and lessons. Submit your activities and lesson plans NOW to TexasACE21@edvanceresearch.com and get your center registered for the next drawing! |
