ACE provides extended learning opportunities for students and their families and offers innovative, hands-on activities that reinforce and complement students’ regular academic programs. These before and afterschool activities are based on research and best practices and include academic enrichment, challenging curriculum, and tutorial services.
ACE strives to increase promotion and graduation rates and helps students prepare for college and the workplace.
Supporting Your Local ACE
ACE receives limited funding. As a result, ACE relies on support from partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and volunteers.
Your local ACE needs your help to create an enduring afterschool community program and all types of support are welcome.
Below are some of the many types of support you can provide your local ACE:
• Tutor, mentor, chaperone • Activity presenter/coordinator • Job shadowing opportunities • Food/beverages • Gift cards, movie tickets, etc. • Educational programs • Supplies (pens, paper, equipment, etc.) Contact your local ACE to volunteer your time and/or provide other needed resources.
