Texas Afterschool Centers on Education™ (ACE™) plays a vital role in our communities. It is important for all stakeholders including students, parents, administrators, faculty, school board members, businesses, and community organizations to recognize the value and importance of ACE in providing an exceptional afterschool program. The ACE PC (Promo Center) has been developed to assist you in your outreach efforts as you engage different stakeholders.
Outreach Strategies and Materials
Each ACE has received an ACE PC (Promo Center) to assist in engaging the community in supporting or participating in ACE. It provides information to help you create an enduring program through:
· increasing awareness and gaining support,
· engaging and developing strong partnerships, and
· recruiting individuals as participants and volunteers.
An ACE PC PowerPoint presentation has been designed to orient you with strategies for best utilizing these outreach materials. You can download it now.
In particular, ACE PC provides materials and suggested how-to’s that you can use to engage students, parents, administrators, faculty, school board members, businesses, and community organizations, and others to provide awareness and garner participation and support. It includes tips, best practices and the following materials and templates to help you make the most of your outreach activities.
A number of materials have been printed and are included in your ACE PC. Other materials are available which you can download.
